Surveen Chawla (born in Chandigarh, Punjab, India) is an actress and is known for hosting Comedy Circus Ke SuperStars.

Early life

Surveen attended medical school, quite contrary to her childhood passion, which was to pursue a career in the film industry. She belong to a Punjabi-khatri family and her family is settled in Gurgaon. Her father and brother are businessmen. She is engaged with Vattan Dhiman(owner of The Earth Pharmaceuticals Ltd.)

Career

Surveen made her debut as Charu in the Balaji Telefilms serial Kahin To Hoga. She then played the role of Kasak in Kasautii Zindagi Kay. She also played the lead role in Kaajjal, but has now parted ways with the show due to a new storyline

Surveen was recently[when?] seen in the reality dance show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, where she paired up with Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth. The first of the three films, titled Carry On Pandu, will see her playing the female lead opposite Ranvir Shorey. She is currently hosting Comedy Circus ke Superstars on Sony.And she is doing an one Punjabi movie opposite Jimmy shergill named Dharti which is going to be released in April 2011. Apart from being an actress, Surveen is a noticeable model and has appeared in television commercials,magazine covers and print advertisements.

She got a role as Kasak in 'Kasauti zindagi ki' She also played the lead role in Kaajjal- sabki aankhon mein bhasi but has now parted ways with the show due to a new storyline.Surveen was recently seen in dance reality show ek khiladi ek haseena with cricketer sreeshant and has also signed a 3-film-deal with percept picture company titled Paramesha Panwala(2008).She will be seen acting in her first debut hindi movie titled Carry on Pandu starring Ranvir Shoray as the main lead while Om Puri, Anupam Kher and Mahesh Manjrekar will comprise the supporting cast.
